(Or in the event 2 small groups are combined, if fewer than the commited number of boys attend than implied at the time of signing up.)

Note to Leader:
The packet of information we send you will help your troop prepare for the horsemanship sessions. It will also help you identify program links to the horsemanship badges. If your troop wants to work on the badge, please check the requirements carefully. A program link does not necessarily complete a requirement or ensure proficiency. As with all Boy Scout badges, proficiency in knowledge and skill is required to earn the badge. The leader determines whether a boy has the knowledge and skills necessary to be considered proficient. As the troop leader, it is your responsibility to prepare the boys for their experience at Misty River. The program is designed to expand the boys knowledge on what they have learned in the troop setting so they can develop proficiency. Please spend time in your troop meetings helping the boys get ready. To simply show up without preparation does the boys, the program, and the Misty River Equestrian staff a great disservice.
