What is Equi-Time?
Equi-Time is a new concept in riding. For less than the cost of ownership, Misty River Equestrian Center provides a unique program for those who wish to enjoy and ride a horse without the worries and responsibilities of ownership. There are no veterinarian, farrier, or feed expenses. Equi-Time provides the horse, the tack and, of course, the facility and miles of scenic trails.

Equi-Time is a membership program where, for a monthly fee of $150, you may come and ride on any day, depending on the availability of the horse you have selected.

Equi-Time offers you a selection of well-schooled, quality horses to choose from. As the Equi-Time program grows, there will be a increased variety of horses offered.



Here's how Equi-Time works:
First, you must pass level two or be certified by an instructor. This may require 4 - 6 months of lessons, however, if you are an accomplished rider, it may just require testing.

After discussing with a staff member the various talents and dispositions of our individual school horses, you will be allowed to select up to 3 to saddle up and tryout. Then, you will select one horse to be your Equi-Time horse.

You will review the Equi-Time binder and facility rules with a staff member. After agreeing to and signing the Equi-Time binder, you will be given a schedule of availability of your Equi-Time horse, and then be given a tour and orientation of the facility.

You may then be free to ride and enjoy your Equi-Time horse. Always call the stable at least 24 hours before you plan to ride, stating your name and who you intend to ride.

About the horses
Equi-Time labels are put on the horses's Stall to define which ones may be used. If any horse needs to rest one day, a sign will be posted on their stall door.
